From install to a finished survey
One member, five steps
01Recruitment
Members join through our app
People sign up in the PocketsFull app on Android or on the PocketsFull website. We find them with our own app advertising.
02Profiling
They answer a profile survey
Members fill in a profile survey about themselves, which helps us match them to studies they can actually take.
03Precheck
Each survey is checked before it opens
When a member taps a survey, the app first asks that survey's qualifying questions. If the answers do not fit, the survey does not open, so fewer people who cannot qualify reach your screener.
04Answering
They answer on their phone
Members take your survey on their phone, including video and audio questions if your study has them. Recordings are checked for length, words and topic, and video for a live person in enough light.
05Rewards
They are paid by outcome
A finished survey pays into the member's wallet. A screen-out or a full quota earns a small reward for trying. Drop-outs and quality fails earn nothing.

Checks on every start
Rules that keep the panel honest
Quality starts before the first question, with rules on how members start surveys and what a failed check costs them.
An hourly limit on survey starts
Members can start only so many surveys in an hour, which slows down anyone who tries to rush through them.
Cheating does not pay
A member removed by a security or quality check is not paid for that survey.
One record for every start
Sampleeye, our sampling platform, records how every start ends: complete, screened out, over quota, security terminate or drop-out.
Entry checks in CatalyseAI studies
Studies built in CatalyseAI can stop repeat entries from the same device or IP address, people outside the allowed countries, and VPN or proxy traffic.
Fair rewards
Paid for completes, not clicks
How each survey start ends for a member, and what it pays.
- Complete
Finished the survey. Paid the survey's reward into the app wallet.
- Screened out or over quota
A small reward for trying, $0.01 today, paid once per survey start while that reward is on.
- Quality fail or drop-out
Nothing for that survey, so rushing or cheating does not pay.
- Precheck mismatch
The survey never opens, so nobody spends time on a survey they cannot qualify for.
